Ingredients
Scale
Chicken and Seasoning
- 2 large chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Wrap & Cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce
Optional Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated with the seasoning.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the pan from heat.
- Prepare the Wraps: Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of creamy garlic sauce on each tortilla. Distribute the cooked chicken pieces evenly over the sauce and sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Grill the Wraps: Fold each tortilla to form a wrap. Return the pan to medium heat and grill each wrap for 2-3 minutes on each side, pressing gently, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the pan, cut them in half, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your cheesy chicken garlic wraps.
Notes
- Use cooked chicken as a shortcut if short on time.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken seasoning.
- Substitute flour tortillas with whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas for a healthier option.
- The creamy garlic sauce can be homemade or store-bought depending on preference.
- These wraps can be served with a side salad or sweet potato fries for a complete meal.
